California Wildfires: How to Help
Updated: Jun 5
I wanted to reach out to all of you and say Happy Thanksgiving to you and all of your families. November is traditionally a month where people reflect and give thanks, but for thousands of people in California that are affected by the recent string of tragedies, it's hard to do that to say the least. So I just wanted to reach out and say that I'm so grateful to have all of you in my life and to have you put your trust in me for all of these important real estate transactions.
Aside from just giving thanks, I think Thanksgiving is also, as the title demonstrates, about giving, so I put a few links at the bottom of this post that you can make a tax-deductible contribution to people and animals that have been affected by the Wolsey fire. Even at this moment, it is not completely contained which is wild to even think about.
I have eight friends/clients that have lost their homes and even our very own office manager here at The Agency, Doug Sandler, lost his home of 25 years--absolutely heartbreaking. I'm so fond of this person professionally and personally.
Below is a link to help those that have been affected in The Agency family and our greater family of course and also I know many of you are so passionate about animals, there is a link to donate there too.
At this time, let's stop and reflect for those of us that are in the majority that weren't affected. I will talk with you all again in December, sorry for the somber post, but I just wanted to take a moment to slow things down and thank you all again and encourage you to give.
Be well, Happy Thanksgiving.
